Beyond Magnetic is a digital/CD EP released by Metallica. The EP was released to coincide with the band’s 30th anniversary shows, in which they released a new song for all 4 days of the shows; it was released as a download on iTunes on December 13, 2011.[1] The four songs featured on the EP were all recorded during the Death Magnetic sessions but were never released.

This six-track EP from BBC Sound of 2011 runner-up and Mercury Prize-nominated James Blake, follows on from the hugely acclaimed debut eponymous album. The EP contains the title track, as well as Fall Creek Boys Choir , the haunting collaboration with Bon Iver.
