This lecture demonstrates how to isolate individual particles and transform them based on user defined criteria. By combining several techniques, such as custom per-particle attributes and ramp-controlled attributes, we can create effects that are impossible otherwise. Random or wave producing funstions such as 'rand' and 'sin' are simple by themselves, but by combining these (and other functions) with conditionals, event and curve functions, we can control not just how particles behave, but when and why.
