Red Faction: Origins is an upcoming feature-length television movie pilot being produced by Universal Media Studios and UFO Films debuting on SyFy, it is the first film in the Red Faction series of video games. The movie stars Brian J. Smith as Jake Mason and Robert Patrick as Alec Mason, the main protagonist of Red Faction: Guerilla. The film takes place between Red Faction: Guerilla and the upcoming Red Faction: Armageddon. The film will release in May 2011 to coincide with the release of the fourth game in the series, Red Faction Armageddon.
PLOT:
The film takes place twenty-five years after the events of Red Faction: Guerilla, when Alec Mason led the Red Faction and the Martian Colonies to freedom. Soon after Alec Mason started a family with his compatriot Samanya. However, thirteen years after the liberation of Mars, Alec Mason's vengeful enemies killed his wife Samanya and kidnapped his daughter Lyra leaving a broken hero left in its wake.

Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a Russian policeman sent after a Georgian drug dealer who has escaped to the United States and is awaiting extradition in Chicago. Jim Belushi plays his temporary partner on the Chicago police. When the drug dealer escapes, the two police must overcome their differences in order to recapture him.

The story of Red Ocean is standard. The protagonist, a diver named Jack gets on the top secret super submarine base, packed with armed men and all sorts of technologies. A well wisher to contact him by radio, tells Jack that these are very angry thugs, having started wrong, and offers three attempts to guess who is obliged to stop all this mess. Bravo diver has no choice but to take a hand pistol and start using it for its intended purpose.
